Tacho Generator

The Tacho generator is a device which converts mechanical motion to an AC voltage without external power, working on the dynamo principle. This voltage can then be used to drive a meter or similar device which is used to indicate the speed, or as an input to electronic speed control / cutoff units. The unit generates 10 volts per 1000 RPM and can be run up to 2500 RPM. The unit is supplied with 18 mm and 22 mm threaded sockets.
