SMK Type

This push-pull, dual winding DC solenoid provides for single unit versatility for engine applications, such as shutdown or throttling. Dual winding design provides higher pull in smaller package.

Unlike most other solenoids this solenoid features 3 wire circuitry, which reduces the chance for burnt coils due to incomplete seating of the plunger. With this design if the plunger does not seat properly due to miss adjustment and the pull-in coil de-energizes, then the hold-in coil will not hold the plunger, causing it to release.

A choice of 2 voltages 12 V DC and 24 V DC is available, with a stroke of 25 mm and hold of 13 Kg. End threading choice of 6 mm or 1/4" UNF.

A single coil version with manual pull-in is also available. The coil is potted to ensure longer life.

Most suitable for applications where dirt moisture and dust etc. cannot be avoided.
