D231, D232, D234 Type

These solenoids are heavy duty, single winding DC solenoids designed for continuous operation at low current input, so that they can be operated on the engine without the need of a separate relay for high current.

These solenoids are normally used in ‘energize to run’ mode, giving a fail-safe system. Since they draw a current of only around 2 Amps while pulling and while holding there is no danger of burnout and the solenoids can remain in ON condition for days.
 
These pulls for each of the solenoids specified below are for continuous duty in hot condition. The solenoids can be used in either push or pull configuration giving extreme versatility.
 
A built in self-damping action prevents wear and tear in the moving parts. These solenoids are available in 12 V, 24 V, 32 V or 64 V DC. These solenoids can be supplied at much higher pull ratings if duty cycle is lowered.
